I’m looking for a Round Diamond 1.5-2 Carats with a Platinum Setting.
My budget is between 10-15K, including the setting. There’s also no rush to purchase in case it’s cheaper during the holiday season.
Either James Allen or BlueNile. The websites don’t matter to me that much. I’ve also heard of Whiteflash if that is a good website.

Currently, I like the options below. The I color would provide enough room for a more elaborate setting, the H/G would probably need a solitaire setting to stay within budget.
Prices aren’t cheaper during the holiday season. I’d say the more important factor is whether you want your proposal date to fall within the return period in case you want to change the diamond or setting after the proposal.
